Default DVD Player purchase advice

Hi peeps,

Im after replacing my trusty old Sammy 709 DVD player ( a veritable classic ) and need some advice. Im looking for a cheap(ish) player that can do the following:

Multi Region
MP3 Playback
Play even the crappiest cdrs ( an absolute must )
1 scart lead
Dolby Digital out (ideally)

Ideally it would do DivX, but not essential.

Any recommendations ?

One of the most popular and best spec'd players in the last couple of years is the Pioneer 565A. Not sure about Divx, but add SACD and DVD-A, as well as VCD, SVCD, JPEG, all (re)recordables. The only thing mine (656A) won't play is MP3 on a DVD (OK off CD). Twin scarts, digital out, DD & DTS and available region hacked for about 180 quid from Richer Sounds, or chipped from Techtronics.
