£300 to spend what to do with it?
As I've just re-insured my car (Forester not Impreza) with Tesco and they won't let me have any mods I've got £300 to spend.
I was think of a PDA + satnav or a new stereo (as the Forester has the original Jap one in).
Anyone else got a suggestion - prepared for this to move to Muppets in less that 10 posts!

£300; should just about see ya through a full body wax, allowing you to use the removed hair, mounted on cling film, as a brand new set of seat covers for your motor. Spend the change on savagely E numbered crisps and penny chews.

should it stay or should it go!
keeping it for the moment (and now probably modding it slightly as well as tesco will accept mods for a price) but if the right offer/impreza came along...

Get back to Tesco's Gavnnik. My JDM Forester is insured with them(third year now) and they have accepted my mods with no probs at all ie-decat downpipe, Trust exhaust, 17" wheels plus changes to air filter/ARB/droplinks etc. If your mods are more extreme then perhaps they don't like them and it's a case of find an insurer who will accept.
I also tried L&V but they don't list the JDM T/tb.

What about a powerkite. Great fun and soon you will want to by more, kite buggies, kite boards, larger kites etc.
Warning: £300 will not go far once you get hooked.

Never got round to buggying/traction kites as slap bang in the Midlands and no beaches!
Great fun though.

The Power Kite Shop mentioned in my previous post is actually based off junction 2 of the M5, bang in the middle of Birmingham. The two brothers which run it are some of the best kite boarders/ buggiers in the country. You might be supprised at the number of inland sites where kite boarding/ buggying is undertaken.
Some Americans are attempting to break the kite bugging records at the moment on the salt flats. Imagine getting speeds in excess of 70 mph in a buggy 6 inches off the ground with wheelbarrow wheels on it !
I started with a 6 ft stacker, then bought a 3.5 metre Bullet to use with my board and buggy. Recently bought a 4.9 metre Blade which has a serious amount of power. Struggle to control it in wind spreeds greater than 10 mph, with it lifting you off the ground to a height of 6 foot approximately.
