Default Stick on pads\fixings

I need a double sided pad to hold my mp3 satellite display to the dash.

I've got one from halfords which is good apart from when the car gets warm inside, the display detaches from the pad and falls off.

The display is held under the dash and needs to be solid enough to press buttons on it, so velcro is unlikely to be suitable.

Any ideas?

the heavy duty stick on velcro from the DIY / Halfords is so strong you'd probably pull your dash off. give that a go.

Matt if you do order your plates from fancy plates they supply sticky pads with them. I had a job to remove my plates of them when i used their pads.

Matt

I could send you some 3M industrial double sided rubber tape if you want. It's about 10mm wide by 1mm thick. I promise that after 12 hrs stuck in place you will not get it off.
