Tracing somebody: Help
Hello
I am trying to trace someone, I did ask this question once before but I now have much more information and I am hoping someone can guide me.
I have a full name, place of birth, an address and occupation as of 1969. Unfortunately at this time the person (girl) wasn't married otherwise it would be easier.
I have tried directory enquiries (bt.com) on the surname in the area and rang the 15 or so numbers asking if anyone had a relation called that to no avail.
This is quite important so, short of hiring a private investigator which is extremely expensive, any suggestions?
Thank you for your help.
Steve.

You could try friends re-united (www.friendsreunited.com) if you know what school she went to - long shot but it might just work !

Hello
Thank you for your help. Would the electoral register help? As the last known name was a maiden one in 1969?
If so, DJ I would like to take you up on your kind offer. Can you MSN me (boxst@yahoo.com) at your convenience.
Thanks!
Steve.

In theory if you could locate this person on the register in 1969 it should have an address next to it, it may then be possible to look at that address for all future years to see if the name changes, and you will potentially have the married name.
Of course a lot of this relies on theory but its worth a shot!
