There's nothing wrong with the guy, its the format of the programme that's questionable, IMO.
Its a very 90's thing to dig out your phone/filofax at every opportunity while trying not to look too smarmy but failing miserably

So Phil and Kirstie find people properties based on what they ask for, only to find they go off any buy something totally different and usually compromise on a dozen things that they said they wouldnt. I too would be a bit peeved at that.
I would have loved them to help me find my first house. Easy life just turning up without all the liasing with loads of estate agents. Im guessing they show them a lot more houses but they only have x amount of screen time so show the more interesting properties they visit.
Simon.

Haven't viewed it yet, we always record it for the following reason........ We love the idea of the programme BUT we hate the way they have keep going back over all the details after every commercial break. Do the programme makers think we have short term memory loss ?
So by recording it we can then whizz right past all the repeatables ! Makes the show about 20 mins shorter but a whole lot punchier !

The problem with the programme is that it is far stretched from most peoples reality. There's probably only 3% of the population that could afford to buy a country house and a "crash pad" (hate that word ), so it doesnt really mean anything to most people that watch it.
I would like to see some more self-build programmes on, and programmes showing you how to buy and restore older properties.

I have got to agree with Scooby96,there's something about kirstie,a bit of a borderline boiler, but i reckon she's a dirtybird in the sack!!!
