This is what I would have to raise to take part in a Boston - NYC cycle run in aid of the Fire Service Benevolent Fund.
Cant help but think it is a bit optimistic and as I need to put down a £250 non refundable deposit I need your ideas (or indeed your sponsorship
) to help raise a bit of cash.
Our usual way of raising cash for stuff is car washes and we normally get about £500 - 800 a time. If I put sheets round all the shifts at work I think I could be looking at around £400. I have also thought about contacting local businesses to see what sort of sponsorship they could throw my way.
So whats your ideas folks ??
