Very interesting city and there is a lot to see and do. Try the Irish pub in the shopping centre by the Blau Kirche in the old W Berlin. Great drop of Guinness and they often have a good group playing too.

'Berlin then and now' by Ramsey is a facinating book gives agood insight into the history.

Then again you could just get **** faced. which I have done a few timed

Check out the East-Side Gallery. Quite a long section of the wall thats been painted by various artists... very interesting.

Museum at Checkpoint Charlie is worth a look as is the Egyptian museam!

If you can stand the queue to get in, also have a look at the Bundestag (Parliament building) - its got a wierd glass dome roof!

Also, you can't miss the Brandenburg Tor and Siegeseule (sp?)

If you want to see Berlin party go for the Love-Parade.
