This has already been posted on 5ive-O, and while the info recieved has been helpful thought other Scoobynetters may be able to help....

Has anyone been prosecuted for moving from the lights when red & amber are showing?

Here's the scenario ... I was sat at lights with a Volvo in the lane along side me. As the lights changed from red to red/amber the Volvo was sharp off the mark and as it moved I spotted the flash in the rear view mirror. I moved a split second later and there was a second flash.

I've already been told that the camera takes two pics, so that may well explain what happened... (although I thought it was only one ), but if it was me caught, then 3 points for me and £60 for S Wales police.

Anyone had any experience of this...

Thanks for the link, but I'd already checked for info there ... just still wondering whether anyone has been been done like this ?

I once overshot the line onto a pedestrian crossing so reversed to get out of the way and got snapped by the traffic light camera! 2 flashes! Never heard anything from it though... I guess it was quite obvious that there were people walking in front of the car and I was further back in the 2nd shot!
