Default Help! What is Nokia Digital Sound Processing

Having got my 993 Twin Turbo yesterday, I have found a "block/box" in driver's door cubby hole which says "Nokia Digital Sound Processing" and has about 8-10 buttons.
I assume this is to do with my ICE but can anyone please be more specific?

Will get a photo tomorrow. It definitely interacts with my Hi Fi as it creates several different sound profiles depending on what buttons I push (buttons are NOT given descriptions)

I would imagine it's a DSP for the stereo - like an effects unit for your Hi-Fi (hall, rock concert, disco etc).....

Or, as it's Nokia-based, perhaps it a DSP for the phone kit - to make the sound more audible when on Hands-Free......

Just a guess.....

DSP - Digital Signal Processor btw

Aren't they just pre-set settings for treble/bass? why not just have two dials, one for treble and one for bass. Most stuff sounds best when flat anyway
