You could try court pay the expense and end up with 6 points and £300+ fine for the trouble.

Think yourself lucky. Very lenient IMHO

I think if you had gone to court you would have been looking at a lot higher fine. At the end of the day you were speeding and you got caught.

3 years ago got caught doing 107mph in a 60 , shortly after doing over 150 for 10 miles empty duel carriageway between leicester and nottingham (no chance of kids about or houses, before anyone says anything), went court, got 3 month ban and roughly £300 fine.

6 months roughly after getting licence back, got done for 65mph in a 30 (again empty dual carriageway-no houses). Took solicitor that time, LOL, got me off a ban, but got 9 points instead!!! now sh!tting bricks for a while 'cause only 3 spare points left for mishaps

moral of story is i'd be well chuffed with your result if i was you, chill

...........................and have i learnt my lesson.............since having 9 points, have upgraded car from 265 bhp to 437bhp, don't think some people ever learn they currently run a book at work with major betting going on that will get banned again in next 12 months

Never ever speed in a 30 cos it's easy to do double the limit and they love giving tickets cos it's so dam dangerous.
