Default Winning Maerati Card!!!!!

I'm sure we all know that the optimax top trump competition is dependent on finding the "Maserati GT Coupe" and we are all looking like mad for it.

Well some clever person has it on ebay HERE

But what people fail to realise is the fact that the card is not the same layout of the current cards, nor does it have the correct heading.

Its from the 2002 shell competition

The seller must be laughing his head off. 7K for a card worth nothing.

He has not even advertised it as the winning card, only as memorabilia so some muppet will lose some hard earned, people are so thick

Very clever chap if you ask me.

Remember one where a guy got taken to court for selling high quality pictures of a man and woman partkaing in "the oldest game in the world".

Needless to say people payed £30 each for these in their droves, only to find out it was a couple playing chess.

would it be wrong of me to mail the highest bidder to inform him that the cards not worth anything? I'll leave it till for another couple of days, as I want to see how high it goes. He can then retract his bids.

It's just proof that there is one born every minute It doesn't matter what it is, there will always be people smart enough to think of things like this, and there will always be ten times more people dumb enough to part with their hard earned for it. Darwin called it evolution, the strong will always vanquish the weak, be it physically, or mentally

My dad's next door neighbour broke up his concrete driveway in the early nineties and sold lumps of it for £30 a go. It paid for his lovely brick replacement. Piece of Berlin Wall anybody?

imlach,

What's this about Wembley turf?

Please tell me a load of braindead football fans (actually there's a spare word in there as if they're football fans they are by implication braindead - hence why they can never post in the correct forum on here) bought what they were told was Wembley turf and surprise surprise it wasn't - go on make my day.

tiggers.

JSW, every time the highest bidder retracts, are you going to mail the next one? You'll be busy for the next few days

there's always some muppet - as long as he's not advertising it as the winning card for 2004 then fair enough.

for £7k - I'm sure I could live with a little negative feedback...

The twonk that bid £7K deserves all he/she gets. That's greed thinking they can get a £100k car for £7k. Good luck to the seller!

He shouldnt have put the disclaimer on. He wouldnt have been in the wrong. Its entirely as advertised "MASERATI COUPE SHELL OPTIMAX TOP TRUMP CARD" it has a picture so if some idiot wanted to pay for it at £7K then why should he stop them

When the old Holte End at Villa Park was being knocked down, Villa sold off pieces of the Holte as memorabilia.
My brother and I simply ran onto the site, grabbed a couple of pieces and ran back off. The only difference is that we haven't got a certificate of authenticity.

When we went to Alcatraz, they were selling bits of it in the shop

No way was I gonna pay for some bits of rock, so we 'took' our own

Didnt realise it is a criminal offence and carries a 12 month jail sentence if caught
