Just ask her out to dinner next time you see her, which by your logic will be tomorrow if you have a w@nk thinking of her tonight

yes i dreamt about a bird from Razzle's Reader Wives. Then lo and behold I saw her in the local chipshop covered in sweat and cod batter. Her name is Trisha and she has 5 kids but stretch marks have never stopped Pops the MASTER. She was a wench but worth one in my book.

Strange because a couple of weeks ago I met this girl and she was well hot. Anyway I was walking through town with my mate telling him about her, no sooner had I finished the conversation and bang she was in front of me....
I suppose I scientificish reason could be that as you are thinking about her she is in your mind etc. So in theory when you have not been thinking about her you could be in the same vacinty as said person but not actually notice her because she isn't in your mind, your mind justs sees her as another person. But when you have been thinking about her when you glance around the vacinity your brain will pick up that is who you have been thinking of. Feasible explanation? Or am I talking crap?

I predict Plance crashes by having a dream about them the night before, wake up and can still smell Kero. Predicted my brother in laws engagement, not just the fact but when and where, I think we all have a bit of precognition.

Throughout your life you experience billions of "events" .. it would be very strange if a few of these events where not outrageous coincidences - you agree ??

Thought about my Wife at 5:20 pm the other day, and Five minutes later she walked through the door!
Come to think of it, she gets home at 5:25 every weekday.

Why do people get so excited about coincidence? Why do people remember a "hit" and forget the dozens of "misses".
How many people do you think about in a day? OK a lot of them will be people that you are working with so a good chance you will see them, but excluding that? In an average day I guess I must think of several dozen different people for a number of reasons. For the most part I do not bump in to them shortly after. No that gives rise to a couple of possibilities:
1) It is coincidence
2) You are intermittently psychic
3) The other person is actually telepathic and they have put the thought in your mind that they are near by

b) every day you do/see millions of things
some days one thing from A matches one thing from B

I read this thread yesterday and thought - that has happened loads of times, but I put it down to coincidence. As proof for the coincidence thing, I reached into my old diary drawer and pulled out an old work diary at random. I have one covering every appointment or meeting since 1994. I pulled out 1997, stuck my finger on a page and looked at the first appointment. It was for a pay review with my old boss on 7th February 1997. I left the job in Nov 1998 and haven't seen him since I left. That old 'remember the days' thing kicked in and I spent a few minutes thinking of how crap he was as a boss, but was a good laugh in te pub.
Was standing in Tesco this afternoon in a part of town i haven't been to in years, but ended up there collecting a part for the motorhome and needing a few other bits on the way back. Who should be standing there by my old boss. First words were - 'I was thinking about you yesterday'.... then I said - 'so was I.' - I explained the circumstances which he found freaky as today was his first time in Belfast since 1999 and he had taken a wrong lane on a morotway that wasn't there when he left. He had stayed on for a couple of miles and then gone off at the first chance, to Tesco's to get a drink for his kids.
What are the chances of that? a million to one? (I suppose every discworld fan knows a million to one chances come up 9 times out of 10 )
Anyway - This evening I have been giving some serious thought to the girl that gave me my first ever BJ. I'll let you know on Monday if it works
