Default Swap a car for a bike?

Because of money problem might have to sell my car. *weep*

But still need the speed buzz in my life. Seeing that I'll be on a limited budget, has anyone considered swap your car for a bike?

Can you live with the limitation it brings?

You can buy a kit car for under a grand that will out accelerate a scoob, and feel much more fun doing so. (Just a pain to keep replacing the bits that fall off).

Well a CB500 Honda will out accelerate most stuff on the road and feel 100 times faster to boot. Around £2K for a newish one. Cheap Mondeo will be around £1500 so there you go. One for the wet and one for the dry.

Obviously you could spend more on either.

p.s. Dont buy ANY Caterham type kit car. They're just for people to scared to ride a motorbike. If anything their LESS practical as you get stuck in traffic as well.

I'm just thinking about doing that as well
Car's definately going...especially as it just blew 2 of its piston rings, which is getting sorted out I can't afford that kind of money though, so I'm going to try and get at least some of it back....

Bikes? I don't know, but I might make an effort to have a look at them. Only thing is, you can't take any luggage on a bike - certainly not windsurfing stuff anyway, but maybe there's a way around that?
