I think what he was saying is that somebody else was using the files hosted on his webspace. So therefore all he has to do is change what the file is on his own webspace and boing it changes on the othersite.

Rather like I could do with the avatar which everybody nicks from my hosting

Just got the impression from the title that Avi was getting back at some guy for nicking his bandwidth, why would he have the guy on his homepage then edit some flash file to include a ***** and an "I love men" comment? Seemed to me he was editing the website belonging to the guy who nicked his bandwith.

So I may be wrong, sue me

My hosting company gives me a facility to restrict other sites using my images. Might be worth looking into?

You can do that by checking HTTP_REFERER which is client-supplied and easily faked, it doesn't work.
