Question Ebay Scam ? or is it ?

Had an e-mail today from an official looking ebay customer services telling me that my login details where gonna expire and I had to fill in an online form asking lots of personal info regarding my login name and password.

Anyone else had this e-mail or is it just me or is it a scam ?

Ebay never ask for such info so it sounds like a scam!

But there is a genuine one when your credit card is about to expire (which you have previously registered with them) and they ask for the new expiry date and they quote the first 4 number of your card e.g. 5345 **** **** **** That's all they ever ask for. The one you got is one of many scam messages. I've had similar from Barclays Bank, Lloyds TSB and some others all in a week. Obvious to most people but I do worry about say students or older folk who are new to banking and could be taken. DL

These e-mails normally contain virus`s aswell! I get one a day and Norton chucks them out so I would check your system.
