Methods of travel ideas needed for journey
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get from Newquay to Northampton on Thursday night to be in Northampton by 7am?
I did a search on Thetrainline.com and the train journey is 16 hours
Car rental looks like a minimum of 5 days.
Flights, I found Ryanair fly to stanstead, which is not local, but my best match so far.
This is because b/f has to get back from Newquay on Thurs night to take his car to be serviced on Friday morning (and his work won't let him bring the van back). So I can collect him from the airport if needed.
Thanks for any tips.

You take the car to the garage.
Or is that too simple.
To be honest I would fly, sail, drive, run, walk(on my hands), to take my own car to the garage, rather than let her drive it.

I can't get the garage to pick the car up as its a small operation.
I could drop the car at the garage, but then I would not be able to get to work on time (if at all).
But thanks, I knew this was nearly impossible.
looks like he is most likely to fly back.
I am very gentle with other peoples cars cheeky Yoza.

Why doen't you B/F cancel the service and take it another time when he is around. If you threaten to cancel the service or take elsewhere, the garage may change their minds about collecting!

Is the Tax also imminent? Otherwise put off the MoT aswell! Again, threaten to take the business elsewhere if they won't collect the car. If its a small operation they won't want to loose the business. Would be cheaper to pay them to collect than for your B/F to travel anyway!
