Best in-ear headphones
Any recommendations?
Need an in-ear phones for my CD/MP3 walkman. Something durable, excellent sound quality, don't want volumne adjust on cable, have seen ones that go further in the ear but haven't seen where to buy them. I like the idea of these as have had phones in the past that 'fall out' when you tip your head sideways!
Bascially the best (within reasonable price) ones on the market that are easily obtainable.

Without a doubt the Sony Fontopia Groove earphones. Amazing bass, £18.99 from argos.com or your local store.
I got a new pair coz someone at work cut my old pair in half with scissors. They are really the best tho.

the sony's are excellent - they're some fontopia ones that are around the £30 mark in the sony centres that are superb.

The "Best" in ear phones are either Etymotic ER4 or Shure E5. Both are sold at a ridiculous price in the UK fom places like this:

Alternatively import from the States from here (recommended):

Got the MDR-ED21LP Sony Fontopia plus.
Good sound and fit. Only real complain is the shortness od cable but apart from that, rather happy at £18 from Sony centre.
ta all.

Now that you're sorted Dracoro - may I hijack this thread?
I'm after some headphones for my home cinema so i can crank up the volume when the other half has gone to bed. Budget around about the £80, been looking at a set of Sennheiser's (sp).
any recommendations.
ps - I'm a bass freak.

I can help! I bought some Sennheiser HD570 a while back for about £70/£80.
Lovely cups that cover the whole ear, nice fabricy/felty feel so no sweaty ears, light, great sound quality (goes well with my Arcam setup).
LOL Jay m A Westie's a bit loud so doubt they'll be that much use

I got mine in store (sevenoaks hifi or Richer sounds, can't remember which but they'll both be able to get them for you). There's a richer sounds all over the country so phone them and order/check stock. Not sure if on-line does ordering where the product is not listed but they do in store IIRC.
