Another Maidstone area property question...
Looks like my purchase in Tunbridge Wells is going to go **** up due to my seller taking too long to find somewhere for my buyers liking I dont want to lose my buyer as they are a cash buyer so looking at places with no chain.
I have found a couple of properties in the Shepway area South of Maidstone and wanted to know if its as bad as the Tovill area or nothing like it. Also whats it like for travelling to the station from in terms of distance/time?
Obviously will look into this more by going to look at the properties but would like the opinions of those from the Maidstone area like they gave on my previous thread before I spend time going over there.
Cheers

You are looking the wrong side my friend.
When I grew up in Maidstone, Tovil, Parkwood, Shepway and Mangravvit were no go areas!
Unless you are thinking of starting up a Burberry and Gold clown shop I would think of other places.

LOL thought as much hence me asking. Its a shame as the properties look really nice. I will still take a look as beggars can't be choosers and I can't afford Ditton and Ayelsbury/Wateringbury prices
If I drive through and get my wheels nicked while waiting at traffic lights I'll know its not for me

Too far away mate. Need to be Tunbridge Wells side of Maidstone otherwise timewise Ashford will take the same amount of time and the properties there are a bargain. Need to be close for my son and ideally within 25-30 mins drive of Tunbridge Wells.

LOL yeah had been thinking about that £300
Thing is mate I am having serious doubts over who I am buying from as they have taken ages looking at stuff and don't seem to be in any hurry. If I rented and then my sellers decided they couldn't find anywhere (they are giving me the impression they arnt fussed about moving) I will have no property and in the mean time prices will have shot up but I will have sold mine at a much lower amount and be in a very bad position. Renting for me is just not an option. All depends on what my sellers do this weekend with offers etc as they are seeing a few and whetehr my buyers say they arnt prepared to wait any longer and go else where
