If I like HIM, who else might I like ?
Hi all,
I remember a thread a few months ago about HIM and how great they are - well the thread was right !!! Having listened to Love Metal, Razorblade Romance and Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights for the last few weeks, I'm keen for more !
So for those that kindly introduced me to HIM (if you know what I mean !), who else might I like ?
Cheers
Matt

Off top of my head....
Saliva
Disturbed
Incubus
Feeder
Audioslave
Funeral for a Friend
All-American Rejects (bit too soft sometimes)
try HMV's website, you can listen to samples from songs by artists to see if you like before buying the album/single

Yup, I remember that thread (I think I might have started it) about the Love Metal album and got recommendations for other H-I-M albums (thanks to everyone for that).
As the previous poster said, Incubus are probably a good bet, Audioslave too.
How about some Muse? Latest album Absolution is pretty fine.
Creed are also a good outfit (Human Clay and Weathered are very, very good)
Check out Tool - Aenima, Lateralus and Undertow are worth listening to.
After several months of listening to HIM (went down very well with the kids) I'm back in a heavier mood listening to Machine Head and Damageplan.

Cheers all,
Saliva - yup, pretty good.
Disturbed - agreed, strong vocals
Incubus - yup, not bad
Feeder - again pretty good
Audioslave - Cochise is a reasonable album
Funeral for a friend - don't know really, I'll give them a listen - cheers
All American Rejects - Agreed - bit soft.
Muse - The Absolution album is indeed a BELTER ! Talented or what !!!
Creed - yeah, I do generally like their released tracks, I'll give them a try
Keep 'em coming !
This week, I have mostly been listening to ...
Live - Throwing Copper (oldie but a goodie)
Staind - 14 shades of grey (tis pretty good actually)
Less Than Jake - bit of a strange one, but enjoying it.
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Vicious cycle, released last year I think. Good ole fashioned rock.
Hence looking for something new !!!
Matt
