Any Scoobynetters race RC cars?
Just wondered how many Scoobynetters race RC cars if any?
I do anyway. Touring cars during the winter and buggies during the summer season.
This summer we have leccy buggies and Nitro trucks and 1/8 rallycross.
Loved RC cars for years but have only been competing for the last 2 years. Our clubs also building a steady Subaru owners club with at least 3 Scoobs owned between us and another couple maybe on the way.
If Subaru owners all meet up say at something like Trax who race RC cars we could have a Scoobynet challenge meeting.

Used to race a lot, every Friday at an indoor club and most Sundays through the summer outdoors, Scottish Championship HPI challenge etc, still got my cars and all the gear to go with them but don't get the chance to race anymore and their not worth much secondhand so I'll just keep them the now incase I ever get the itch to go back for some fun. Only problem is it is so expensive to be competitive nowadays kinda took the fun out of it.
Cars;
Losi XX4 fully loaded, graphite everything LCG chassis, carbide ***** in the diffs, CVD's etc basically worlds spec
HPI Pro3, bit of a disapointment from the Pro 2 but once I added the HB top deck etc it worked better.
HPI Micro, for a bit of fun, even more so now I've got a double garage to play in
Transmitter, KO Mars.
Lots and lots of spares, batts etc.
Looking back I keep realising how much I've spent
John.
