I'm travelling to the 'ring' next month, through France, Belgium & Germany. Is it worth leaving it on the dash, or should i put it away

I know detectors are illegal in France, what about the other countries.

Unless you're using it for GPS, or for accurate speed readout, then I'm pretty sure it will be useless, as its only loaded with UK camera locations.

Very sensible Chris - the French really don't like these things, so I wouldn't even risk it.

HIDE IT in the boot. The Gendarmes will still do you even if it's not plugged in. Throw it under the spare or somesuch...
