Default Camera question please !

I have brought a Canon Powershot S400 which is an import version of the IXUS 400
I need to adapt the charger from a 2 slot pin to a UK style
Please can someone point me in the right adaptor !
Cheers
Paul

Can you not just use a travel plug type thing?

Surely that would work and would not require taking the plug apart and possibly frying it

What's the charger like? Doesn't it have a detachable mains lead that you could just replace? (I know the D30 and S45 both use the same figure-8 connector which is completely standard - somewhere like Farnell or Maplin will be able to supply one off the shelf).

AC 50/60 HZ
7.5va(100V)
-10.5va(240V)

A trevl adapter should be fine, My PDA and SatNav kit came with a 2 pin plug and a convertor, seems to work fine

Yes, you can use a travel adapter. That's got to be cheaper than using a different charger
