just wondering,. when should one weigh oneself. to be accurate
because just before you go to sleep is one weight, then when you just wake up its another....so???????????????

2) Saying that, I think considered opinion is to weigh yourself first thing in the morning.

Same time each day.
But unless you're a boxer who is fighting a weigh-in it doesn't really matter.
If you're a dieter, then only weigh yourself on a week, max!!!!

i used to wonder if someone weighs 11 stone 6 pounds and had a dump which was about 2 pounds why don't they weigh 11 stone 4 pounds afterwards

If you get wind and don't let it out then that can make you lighter too.
Think its because fart-gas is lighter than air.
Try farting into a balloon, tie a not and watch it float up to the ceiling.

once every couple of weeks in the morning before eating anything. when dieting, i do it as far apart from carb-up/refeeds as possible as these can skew things with water retention.
i only do it to ensure i havent lost too much weight.
i use the tape measure and body capliers more often than weighing - leads to far more accurate estimates of the bodyfat that you've lost.
