I am getting no sataliete signal on every channel, and system setup says i have no signal strengh or quality, been on the phone to sky and tried a few things and basically the dish needs aligning but gonna cost £65 & i have to wait til tuesday, so if there is any sky engineers out there with the alignment tool, and dont mind a lil extra cash, let me know.

If it was working, and isn't now, is it possible that the dish has been moved by recent strong winds?

If it has, you will probably be able to reset it yourself (with a bit of assistance).

Get a helper to sit in front of your telly watching the signal strength/quality meters in the setup section of the digibox's menu. Then, provided you can reach it safely, "wiggle" the dish slightly left and right, up and down, and get your helper to tell you when the strength/quality rises, and when it falls.

You'll soon get an idea where it should be, and if the wind was enough to put it out in the first place, you should be able to push it back with your hand.

Cheers greasemoney, luckily i can reach the sky dish from my bedroom window, pushed it around a bit and its all working.
