I had a quick look at the thread. Starts of with lesson 1 in how to drive like a tw*t on the motorway just to **** off complete strangers. THEN he turns the argument to 'ooh, you never speed then' or 'you've modded your car and never go over 30' which seems to be completely irrelevant to the initial post about being a tw*t in the middle lane of the motorway. I guess Vectras must be so boring that you have to entertain yourselves in other ways????
Hmmm, repmobile driving in the middle lane playing silly games with traffic? stereotype anyone?

Nobody ever played 'circles' then?
Picture this:
Car sat in lane 2 for ages. (typically a ****ter)
You are coming up quickly in lane 1.
Move to lane 3 to overtake, pull all the way over to lane 1.
Slow slightly to get behind the car again.
Repeat maneuver until they get the message.
Oh how the long M6 journeys fly by
Damo

Approached a tw@t in a Hyundai Somthing-or-other on the M1 a few weeks ago, in my works Transit Jumbo (F'kin massive thing).
It was 11:30 pm on a Sunday, there was f'kall else about, and he's sat in lane 2 doing 65 (ish). Pulled out of lane 1, into lane 2 and waited for him to pull over and let me past (Fat chance!) after 30 secs or so it was clear he needed a little persuasion, so i gave a flash or two of the main beam. All I got in response was his right hand indicator. Just as I was thinking 'Is he pulling into lane 3 or is he trying to tell me to do so' his intention was made clear by 4 of the 6 (i kid you not) people in the back seat turning round and giving me the finger, in unison, all pointing to lane 3. Couldn't pass him for PMSL at the sardines in the back. So I went back to lane 1, slowed down to his speed and followed him from J3 to J27. He didn't move once, but we had a good laugh at the number of folks who got the same response from his passengers.
Give me a bloody gun.

Here's how...
1) Get a car that has a good engine (V6 is pretty good!!)
2)Go down the motorway in the middle lane about 60 mph
3)Wait for a car to pull up behind you and wait for it to start to over-take
4)Put your foot down as he/she passes
5)If your car has the power..you will out run him
6)Wait for him/her to pull back in behind you
7)Slow down agian..forcing them to try to over-take again!!
Repeat steps 3 to 7
undefined The fun you can have in a Vectra, eh? I was going to say little minds, but looking at the photo......

I can't wait to meet a ***** on the motorway thet tries this trick on -
me : battered old Tdi van ( race prepared )
***** : repmobile driver with no motorway skills whatsoever
..asuming there are no other cars about I would be quite happy to *accidentally* bump into one of these as they came up the inside of me.
******* trick, and in the eyes of the inurance company, undertaking is illegal, thusly null & voiding any potential claim.
..well that's my theory..

I hate motorists who couldn't keep to a constant speed on the motorways...it was my pet hate for bit whilst lumbered with the 2 cylinder transit or the Irish spec Berlingo and an unrealistic deadline.
Loaded and laddered these beasts will just about manage to push the speedlimit, but when you are forced in to previous mentioned "game" (and it has happened on a number of occasions) it just makes me want to ram the ****s out the way
And don't get me started on the stop-go drivers in the 3rd lane at rush hour
Or the blindspot hoggers

I did notice And quite rightly so that no-one supported it. Even if it was posted as a "wind up" it's not an attitude that should be encouraged.
