Finding car details from the reg no.
Does anyone know of a free website that can give you car details from the reg no. There was one thread a while back about this but I cannot seem to find it.
Someone I know has just been crashed into and the other guy wouldn't give his details. But we've got the reg no.

I think the site you were refering to was the RAC one, but that only gives limited info about the car itself, such as colour, type etc, so wouldn't be much use to you on this occasion.
Straight to the police- IIRC its an offence not to give information to someone who has a right to request it.
