Personal Warranty
I've just bought an imported Forester T/TB.
Can anyone recommend a warranty company that offeres reasonable cover (does such a thing exist).
I wouldn't mind 12 months cover jsut for my piece of mind.

from what i gather, they are a con.
i've yet to see anybody make a successful claim off of one of these. you also have to bear in mind that a lot of things AREN'T covered (that normally would be on a subaru oem warranty), and you're usually only covered up to x amount (say £750) in the event of a claim.
nowhere near enough if the worst happens and u need a £3k rebuild.
when i bought my wrx several years ago, a few years worth of aftermarket warranty were given. i never had to claim... but there was a long list of exclusions, and the £750 maximum was stated (this was their top platinum service). when the warranty ran out, i was given the option to renew it at a cost of something like £200, which seemed a lot for a £750 limit per claim.
i can see why you'd want some piece of mind tho... has the importer not recommended anything?

I've bought it from an auction!
I am having it prepped by a local garage that import FTO's etc. but thought I'd see if anyone on here could recommend something.
