Any suggestions on who to use to send a 10kg parcel to europe?

size is about 35x25x8cm

I sent a turbo from Edinburgh to Dublin, and used DHL.
They were excellent.

Cost about £25 i think. (next day)

Europe is a big place - where in particular? Does it need to get there quick in which case a courier such as DHL, TNT, UPS, Federal Express will do the job. If slower is fine then you may do better on a part load guy running out to the area.
