Hotel advice please
I'm looking to book a night in a nice Hotel with Romance in mind 
Hopefully, it will have a decent view out of the window, be it of a City type view or country or sea etc. I want to go out for a nice meal, hit a few decent pubs before retiring back to the Hotel to share a bottle of bubbly
Has anyone got any recommendations? Anywhere within a 200 mile radius of Wetherby would be good too.
Newcastle has been suggested to me as a good nightspot for instance.

Not stayed here myself but it looks very nice
Stow House Hotel in the Yorkshire Dales.
Edit to say IIRC there's a few pubs in Aysgarth but more country setting than full on town night life
