drive to dresden ... should i bother ?
I'm off to a wedding in Dresden in the summer. It's about 600 miles away ... should i bother or just get the plane+train+taxi ... which is painful and with all the waiting around and airport checkins is about a 9 hour trip ??

When your car is lowered beware of Dresden!!!
mine is -40mm and had to take care all the time (and its not far from me, but they have much(!!!) more holes on the street)
If you can leave your car somewhere before Dresden it´s o.k.
By the way: If you want to know what "hard driving" means take a drive to Leipzig,it´s on the way.(Ask someone in dresden for guiding you, they wont do it because of the horrible driving atmosphere here...*lol*)

You wont need to drive in the night. From Hannover to Leipzig (A14) is clear all day (I drove it daily 2 weeks ago and from time to time also)
And from Leipzig to Nossen it´s quite o.k., a well know´n High-Speed route
