The problem with cruising in November is where to go to find reasonable weather.
We cruised the Caribbean last November (north of the Bahamas, not in the Caribbean Sea) and had three or four days of rough weather. It also became clear that these cruises are packed with Americans who want to do three things: shop, eat and gamble.
We went with a cruise line that was supposed to be one of the best, but frankly it was no better run and the ship was no better that the cheap deals you can get from Thomson in the Med.
If you do go for the Caribbean check your route carefully - the Caribbean Sea is much calmer.
