Can i replace 1.2v 600mah Nicad with 1.2v 1300mah Nimh?

hmmm, well the voltage is the same so that is okay. the extra capacity means it will last longer but then again it all depends on the charging circuit, i guess it would take x2 longer to charge up?

Sad as it is, you'll probably find it cheaper just to buy a new phone with a NiMH or Li-Ion battery.
Maplin do a range of batteries for cordless phones.

New phone?....i think not....,i'll just leave it on charge permanently,either that or use nmih and charge them up from my digi camera charger.I have 4 sets of batteries...or get new nicads.
