and to the bloke who sadly listens to Forth FM and who stumbled upon a dance cover of Comfortably Numb,
I'm here
and I told you last week and I'll tell you again.... I was listening to Crappy Forth FM to get the local traffic reports as it twas snowin' round these parts
Edited to say that I personally prefer Wish you were here
The Wall is excellent but any album that starts with Shine on you crazy diamond might just shade it ... but then again I listen to Forth FM

IMHO the CD version does not do the Wall justice. The vinyl is far superior for the kind of emotion contained in the album.
Get another copy on vinyl, CD's suck.

You aren't listening then or you perhaps just prefer CD, I've got a reasonable record deck and a CD of similar standard. The CD sounds like crap, but then again I hate CD's so I'm biased.
The vinyl copy I have is in another league in terms of sound quality and atmosphere- and I don't mean the odd pop or click.

I picked it up about a month ago for £16
got to admit not impressed.. the fist cd is ok but then it gets a bit hmmmmm
bit like tommy looks good but fails to deliver,,,,
for me one of the best double albums has to be Jeff waynes "war of the worlds"
the opening lines by Richard B are legendary....
to the point of my eleven year old listened to the album and has gone and bought the original book by HG Wells
thats what you call the power of music
