Thinking of doing a twin-centre holiday in Italy this year. Went to Sorrento last year. Did the odd trip in the hire-car: Amalfi Cost, Positano, Ravello, Pompei. Crossed over to Capri on ferry and a coach trip to Rome. Loved it!
All in one week.
Definately doing 2 weeks this year. Think I may combine a lake with a City such as Venice or Florence. Anyone done this or similar?
What can you recommend?

Oh, there's just the woman and me. No brats!
We like a drink at night but don't want the Ibiza-Napa thing!
