New immobiliser key?
#1
My eldest has finally got himself a car, a 95 Clio, and it has an immobiliser on it.
This consists of a small rectangular box on the dash with a circular depression with 3 brass contacts in the base, and an LED on top.
To de-immobilise, you place the key, a cylinder about 35mm long with a circular end, and a concentric pair of contacts in it, into the depression until the light goes out.
Now my problem: we only got one key. The dealer doesn't know who the previous owner was, and doesn't know who fitted the unit.
Does anyone recognise the decription? If so, can you advise me how to get a spare key?
TIA
