Yep its girlie trouble again. 5 months I invested in that!

Funny how most people on here will say things like "Dont worry about it" "Plenty more fish in the sea" blah blah.

Jeez I would even say it myself if I read a post like that.

And as a friend I want her to be happy, so if thats with this new guy then I guess I should be glad.

Doesnt make it any easier though. Specially when you get the "We'll still be friends" quote. To which I said "Oh of course" thinking I dont bloody want to see you right now!

Burn the bridges completely, and move on. There's no point holding on, and if she's got another guy on the scene that just makes it worse - it's a sickening feeling to think of her with another man.

I know it's easy for me to say, but I had a crap year last year with women, so I know what it's like. Easy to say I know, but basically everyone has been there and it doesn't get easier.

Typing this I know that it's just the standard advice, I'm sorry. Time is a healer etc, etc..

You definately need a cooling off period where you have no contact. Just try to avoid her but don't be rude. In a few weeks/months if you still want to be friends she will be there for you.

She has decided to go with someone else, so leave it at that.

If or when you bump into here in a few months time you can be friends then so be it.

Ran into her today (unfortuantly this will happen from time to time as we work at the same firm. ) Was friendly but all she wanted to do was moan about her work colleages. Tried to remain interested but found I really didnt care anymore When I think of her now all I can think of now is her faults
