Tracking how much a property was sold for?
#1
A friend is having something of a family feud and whants to find out how much a property owned by a parent was sold for. It seems that someone isn't quite telling the truth and the other sibling is trying to shaft them over.
Any ideas?

You can look on the Land Registry site to generate a report on who owns the house/land, etc... Within this report is a figure for how much the house was bought for.
Last time I performed a search on the site it cost me a couple of quid to get the report.

Was intrigued by the concept of myhouseprice.com so had a look...
<< MyHousePrice.com offers you access to the registered sale price of any property sold in Scotland.>>
...so, Karlos, fine if you're after a sale price there then
