Well I had a p800 on orange, but I just couldnt live with it (took about ten mins to put a number in) I sold mine last week for £175 (lost £25 on what I paid for it)
It was a good concept, just failed in execution.

Hi,
Maybe you should have plumped for the P900 which was brought out to solve many of the known problems with the P800. The 900 still has bugs, eg you can't always see certain entries in "Contacts" if you access them via the SMS application, and Bluetooth connection properties do occasionaly drop off. However it's an excellent phone and I keep discovering new things about its capabilities every day.
Have you spoken to the techies at Sony to see if they can do a software update for you, or go back to your supplier and swap over for a 900?
Hope this helps.

James,
Thanks for the tip but I did check this as the number I have for said contact was a mobile. To get round the problem I have gone the other way and I SMS from Contacts, not the other way round, which works every time.
I still think its an excellent tool, despite the glitches. Discovered smilies today
Cheers

'cant see certain entries'??? Hmmm - what kind of entries? Chatlines? No such prob on mine I've noticed.
How usefull do you find the work or home 'mobile' choice? Only dodgy dealers have 2 mobiles!

Diesel,
I must be a dodgy dealer then as I carry 3 mobiles!
Having the ability to input multiple phone contacts is very useful. Gave up chatlines years ago, much prefer the real thing!
