I suppose it is it you're getting away from the police or dangerous driving.. 2 bikers got jailed last year for doing excess of 150mph, so yeah must be????

Contrary to popular belief speed limits are only advisory and are not legally enforcable...

It is classified as a motoring offence, and according to the Vehicles (Crime) Act, passed in 2001, speeding is a criminal offence in its own right.
