We're looking for a corner unit, preferably in pine, that will accomodate our computer unit.
We've checked the obvious places, but were wondering if anyone could point us in the direction of a good retailer, either in the general Yorkshire area, or online.
Cheers.

I agree with IKEA.I got a belter from there with loads of shelf and cd space for just £69!!!.Solid pine light coloured aswell.Couldnt seem to find it on there site though dont know if they have stopped stocking it.Ideal for restricted corner spaces and VERY sturdy(dont be put of by the price being relatively cheap).
Sorry cant remember the name of it,but if you go down there you cant miss it.Its about 5 ft high with all the shelving and about 4 ft by 4 ft width and depth.Good luck finding it .

My last house, I built my desk to fit out of MDF. Incorporated 19" racking for my 'puters etc & suitable shelves etc etc. Painted white for the most part (although could've been any colour) & the topsurface was covered with a vinyl floor covering glued down. Cost about £30 in materials.
I did have the benefit of space & time to do it right though.
Edit to add. A slightly more simple polished pine worksurface with s/steel legs to the front (attached to wall rear/sides) should be finished shortly for my new office

Try office world, they had a nice light wood veneer one a while back for £ 45.00 or so with draws, keybord shelf, mon shelf, etc. Looked a bargain and good quality.

Thanks to all who have replied so far, however we're looking for something with more of a "traditional" look.
the computer will be in our dining room, and would ideally like the furniture to "blend"

My parents have a very nice Ducal unit for the Dining room. LOvely finish (if a little soft). All in one unit with Keyboard drawer a shelf & drawers above + wheeled drawer pedastal below. <goes of to find link>

Looks like Ducal dont have an on-line brochure I can find quickly. You can request a paper one though from the Ducal Webiste.
Images below from one of their resellers - Page Here
This is the one my parents have - has holes in all the right places for cable management etc.
They do several corner units aswell e.g.
Most places can order Ducal furniture. We got some for the louge from Allders. My parents bought from a local Pine showroom.
