Anybody know the last song by New Order?

Heard this great track on TV and somebody told me it was the last release(or chart making release anyway) by New Order. Its at least 6 months to one year old. Any ideas?

Sorry c'ant remember the advert but it was'nt a product. It was for some series maybe a sports event. Sorry not very helpful. I know remember seeing the video when it first came out and it did'nt actually have the band in it so I never realised it was a New Order track. Sorry the deatils are sketchy.

Unfortunately I d'ont know the words either(doh!) so the websites not much use. How many albums have they released in the last year? If only one then it must be on it.

CD is "Get Ready", probably their best album. I know this doesn't accord with what many NO fans would say (and don't get me wrong, I love all their stuff and have virtually everything they've ever released), but this was probably their first album which didn't have a generous helping of filler.
Have been watching them live for over 20 years (yes, even when they were Joy Division) and several things hold true
* Barney can't sing
* And his attempts at half-arsed "grandad at the disco" dancing are hilarious.
* And he's STILL not much of a guitarist, live at least
* Hooky is a showman par excellence
* Revenge was a terrible side-project, but excellent live
* The Other Two was no better on album - don't know if they did any live stuff.
* NO are a lot less aggressive nowadays. A much better level of musicianship is shown, but this has partly been traded for a reduced level of occasion, despite Hooky trying to nick centre-stage at every opportunity
* Ian C was genuinely manic on stage - you feared for his health.

Would have to agree with you 289 - Barny's strange 'twisty arm' thing always made me laugh - although I've only been watching them live over the last 16 years

289, it was the very fact that Barny has a weak voice and that they are all self taught musicians that makes them brilliant IMO.
The production values pre-Republic were pretty bad but that made the tunes sound better than the polished, over-produced music they could have put out had they not spent all of their (Factory's) recording advances on drugs.
