Masters Of Hardcore. In Holland. 12 hours of 190bpm Dutch Gabba (Hardcore techno) 10,000 skinheads dancing all night. I'm gonna be one of them (apart from the skinhead bit that is

Hellfish and Producer - topstuff Astraboy. Producer was well ahead of his time when I first saw him getting on for 10 years ago 
I've got some old mixes of his that still sound good today.
The Dutch still know how to party properly, no hassles. You will enjoy it!
Edited to say Gabba seems to be the only music that's true to the original rave sound all those years ago too.......

Have you listened to any Gabba? It'd just awful. Went to a few parties at the old dole office in Brixton a few years ago. They used to have the odd gabba room. 5 mins and you where out of there.

well if you compare it to UK (Happy) hardcore raves then yes it is more aggressive. However its mostly an act. the music is aggressive enough for the crowd to not be. you wont see any rucks at a gabba rave.
As for the music itself then its basically a dutch branch of hardcore techno. Definitley an aquired taste. it is very difficult to describe so I'll come back with some links.

theres a street called stratemiend with bars on each side of the road and no other shops all the nightlife people gather here
look out for the evouloun a flying saucer shaped building i helped design and build it
back to your passion raves there will licensed guys with red badges that sell some kind of pills(ravers must get alot of headaches )
if you bring your own headache pill they will test it for you to see if it any good
another fantastic bar is the willemina in willimina square sunday nights are the best
another thing that sticks in my mind is all the taxi drivers wear suits and drive mercs
write one of your famous reports when you get back

lol, I used to love Gabba....I remember Technohead I wanna be a hippy gabba mix, that was mental. Along with Dyewitness, CHOSEN FEW, turbulence, Charly Lownoise e.t.c..... All good headbanging fun.

gawd i got a music maker tape as well lol
i was haveing this indepth convo with my bird, shes still youngish and didnt belive me when i spotted carl *** in a film
it was blatently him, anyways i said i remberd him back in the old rave days and she was having none of it because aperntly he dj`s hard house lol
ffs i was listening to him when she was still an egg inside her mothers womb (well not really) lol!
