Hi

I have a problem with my LCD Projector, it has started to display 2 bands of colour over the image, at the bottom it is a yellow colour, and at the top it is a purple colour

Any suggestions as to what could be wrong, there is about a 1000 hours left on the bulb too

Cheers

Some LCD projectors have three separate lcd elements, with a separate light beam passing through each. Could one have been knocked out of alignment?

Ahh could be that, seemed to start doing it, when I hung it upside down from the ceiling

AFAIK my Projector does have 3 seperate LCD components

I'll take a look and see if something has shifted

Sorted it

Removed the bulb, and there is a glass panel inside what the bulb shines onto, and as the projector is now upside down, the glass had effectively 'dropped' a few mill, now its back in the proper place, picture is great again

Thanks for the pointer
