whats so bad about that? just let ours off tonight, as last night was blowing a gale and pi**ing down, so no point.
Kids loved it, and I let my daughter light one too.
Happy new year,
chris.

Yeah, was at the in-laws for Hogmanay, and while we were at the pub, some guy started off WW3 using WW2 rockets!!
Must have had about 20 MASSIVE rockets, which he set off between 11pm and 1230am. Woke up the in-laws grandchildren, and spooked out their 2 labradors. The rockets were raining down in the in-laws garden as guy was aiming them all over the shop....
Father-in-law went up (it was 4 houses up) to complain (as did a few other neighbours) and kindly suggested he might have had enough by now and could he stick to something smaller for the remainder of the evening as it was spoiling their quiet New Year. Numpy Neighbour told him that he'd spoiled THEIR New Year by complaining about it...
The sooner the HUGE rockets are banned, the better. No problem with a few fireworks, but the HUGE bang rockets are not very neighbour-friendly.
If the nieghbour had been having a riotous party with music blaring, the police have the power to confiscate the hifi, but with rockets (FAR FAR louder), there is nothing one can do.

Hopefully the law will be changed regarding fireworks before November 5th this year.
After councils receiving thousands of complaints of fireworks being set off at ridiculous hours and weeks before and after bonfire night. The new law will supposedly make setting off fireworks after 11pm illegal and the culprits liable to prosecution within the antisocial behaviour clauses.

Yeah same here, why the f*ck would somebody feel the need to let of huge bangs at 2am when its raining and not even a significant date ?
I used to love fireworks/bonfire night but it just sems now to be another weapon in the arsenal of the inconsiderate tossers that seem to make their prescence felt all across the country.
Had somebody set some off when we were at relatives who have a house on the beach in Anglessy, 2am, woke the kids up and I tore my shoulder as it went of on the window.

Agree with the above statements, I had a total **** of a Neighbour setting off his fireworks at 5am on new years day. There is just no excuse for this and is just an attempt by a little man to waive his manhood around . He does it with his stereo till 2am when he has Barbeques in the summer. I did go and wake him up yesterday morning with my 600 Ninja (twice ) to let him know how I felt.
