My mate did it - apparently it could potentially be very interesting, or just very very boring. His was very boring.

Talking

Did it years ago at Croydon. There was a lot of hanging about and I actually only sat on the jury for one case in 2 weeks (for about 3 days). It was quite interesting, but the case was a fairly simple burglary .

I could imagine it being pretty nasty if you had to do a bigger trial such as rape or murder.

Out of the two weeks you might get called once or several times i was call three times .Thay put you in a room then at random call out names for each case. So thers aways people left in room so take some thing to read cos it can be a long day if you dont get a call up .INTERESTING THOUGH IF YOU GET A GOOD CASE GOOD LUCK CHRIS

i did it. You turn up, wait to see if you're needed and then go home or go and sit on the jury.

i found it very interesting

Depends on the case though I guess.

I did mine in November, eventually got called up after 3 days and after a lot of messing about by the accused (2 scallies) we got sent back upstairs 5 times and in the end the judge said for legal reasons he cannot explain why but we was to go back up stairs collect our belongings dont say anything to anyone and go home, that was it, I wasn't needed after that.
I had to be there for 10.00 got sent home at about 3pm.

It was the most boring waste of my time I've ever encountered. I was "selected" in the random bit but was rejected by the defendants representitives. I think it was my "He's guilty now let's have a good hanging" T-Shirt that saved me as the case ran, in the end, for over a month.

After a month of that I'd kill someone myself.

Exclamation

Usually two weeks at a time.I never got a case and it turned out to be a lot of sitting around.

Take either a gameboy or a book or your laptop.

Never been called up, but my brother was, he was on the jury for the cowden rail crash, so it was 'interesting' but not something I'd want to have been on.

Just rush out and get yourself a good criminal record and you won't ever have to do it

Thumbs up

Lol @ Andy

Think you could class almost the entire current top 40 as 'criminal records'

Cheers
