Games are great graphically, machine is great in itself, the BIG problem I have found is that I have been brought up using the Digital Controllers of the old machines.

And I am quite handy with them! These frigging Analogue Controllers are an absolute pain in the 4rse!!

I have MOH Frontline, Max Payne and other games and it appears that you HAVE to use with the Analogue sticks and I just can't get on with them at all!

Brand new PS2 - Silver - For Sale, 1 hours use!

Gutted and I sold all my PSone stuff last week, Memory Cards, Controllers, 68 Games, LCD Screen, Portable Pack ...... all for the price of ONE PS2 Game!!!!!

What am I to do?

I am sober!!

These controllers are doing my head in, HONESTLY!!

Why can I NOT set the game up to play just with a good old fashioned Digital Set-up???

Cool

Pete, persevere, you will slowly move into the modern age and get used to it. Even my old man has now got the hang of analogue controllers and believe me, if he can, you can. Give it some time, put it on easy, do some two player stuff to practice, and you'll be fine with it before you know it.

And you should have kept some of your PS1 games to play on your PS2 to cheer you up

Come on!! Why should I have to change the habits of a lifetime of videogames?? I was blasting aliens when most of you weren't even eggs!!

I am severly pi55ed off!! I mean I don't mind the Analogues for those who can use them - BUT I want an option to use the Digital Controller set-up! That can't be too difficult can it?

I have spent 20 minutes running around the beaches of Normanndy with my face pointing skywards, getting blown up, shot at, and its NO fun at all!! It was bad when I was REALLY there - but this is WORSE!

Cheer up Pete - I don't even know what an analogue controller is! You see you're younger than you thought.

Pete,

Don't know if this will help but you might want to see if the game has an option to invert. So when you push back you look up and when you push forward you look down. This often helps (well it did for me when I tryed to play halo for the first time)

Just use some old PS1 controllers in the PS2. They work fine.
