Nice job mate, particularly like the book under the central speaker, touch of class!!!!!!

Only kidding!!

Serious point, rear speakers, shouldn't they face into the room at 45 or more degress to project the sound??

adp, lol! correction tho, too much time NO disposable income now!

the stand is an atacama audio equinox rack. if you go to-
atacama-audio.co.uk theyve got all the diferent sizes available. not to expensive, very well made and you can add shelves as you go!

chris, that isnt a book. thats the who thirty years of maximum r'n'b cd box set

ive found because i sit in between the rears, i got the best effect with them firing directly at the main listening seat, as the rears are very directional.

Very nice indeed - have the same telly too

That centre speaker might need to go on the wall somehow mate to look neat (may sound better too - and it is the one that does the most work). My centre is actually perched on top of the telly - its a 3 driver long and slim Jamo affair. Looks aesthetically fine too as it is black-ish like the telly.

D

PS if you dont, how you gonna hoover around it

diesel, i know what you mean about the center, trying to get a stand the right height to put it on in front of the set. thats the only problem with the set, its too narrow at the top! have you done the convergence on yours via the service menu? well worth taking a couple of hours over!

stormyuk, the way to get the best sound is to add an extra centre speaker above with a pan pot to balance the image so that it comes from the 'centre' of the screen. Naturally, you'll need to use a stereo amp for the centre channel and pan the input and NOT the output as that will cack the sound up! It's a great trick that I picked up at Abbey Road's DVD authoring rooms.

:-)

Mike

PS. Looks like you can afford it anyway!
