Would have thought that he probably needs some xmas presents so he's either on the rob for the presents or to nick money to buy them.

Being honest, lockpicking has fasnicated me and would be interested to know if it really is as simple as shown in the movies, I do believe there is some skill involved. Personally I favor using a set of keys, much easier

Brick+window, for your thieving approch, at least. Im just interested in it. Cant do the simple locks so theres no chance of the proper stuff, might get a picking set, the're cheap anyway.

Hello

I used to be able to open any Yale type front door lock in a few seconds. Less if I used a Pick Gun.

To open most cabinet type locks, insert a small screwdriver / pen lid into the bottom of the lock and apply pressure gently in the key-opening direction, then get a paperclip straighten out and bend slightly at one end. Then "rake" the clip from the back of the lock to the front whilst apply gentle pressure using the screwdriver / penlid.

This has no relavance at all, but when I was at school, all those years ago, we were stood outside our german class after lunch waiting to get in. Some one had slipped a 1 pence peice into the keyhole! Took Herr Gallagher 30 minutes to get in! Excellent!

you don't need lockpicks, i watched some film on Ch5 and all you need to do is show your credit card to the lock and shake the card and the door opens

When I was at college I made a master key that fitted every lock in all the "living" blocks.

Used to be great fun at about 3 o'clock at night going over to the lasses' blocks, and cling-filming their toilet pans, or boot-blacking their loo-seats after removing light bulbs!
