why do schools have plays but not teach the kids to act? i dont mean hoffman/deniro esque styleee but at least stuff like - look at the person you are delivering the line to, dont face the crowd and blurt it out in monotone.

and why not put in some laughs? how cool would it be for ali g to turn up at the nativity only to be kicked out by the wise men while demanding "is it cus i is seven?"

At last years Nativity my cousin dropped baby Jesus and one of the Three Wise Men poohed his pants. We'll all burn in hell for sure.

I think it is the same for watching kids dancing. It truly is bloody awful for everyone except the parents of the kid who is looking awkward and shaking like a ****ting dog around the floor.

lol! My brother, when he was little, was the inn keeper that was supposed to give Joseph and Mary shelter. When Joseph and Mary arrived at the door and asked if there was any room at the inn he bellowed "bug off!".... and we have never let him forget it!!

but how hard is it to spend a few half hours on the basics of line delivery for those in the play?

its crap- kids last school had sports day but never taught them about crossing the line...bunch of kids got to the tape and just stood there!!!!!!
