Past accusations
As the verdicts came in, it emerged that Huntley had been accused of underage sexual relations several times when he lived in Grimsby in the late 1990s.
One of his alleged victims was a young girl, 11, who claimed to be indecently assaulted by a man called Ian when she was 10 years old.
Huntley, who was living in her street at the time, was arrested but never prosecuted.

Good, sounds like the right verdict to me. I was worried he was going to get away with manslaughter.
I hope this goes some way to helping the parents move on.
I hope Huntley really suffers in prison.
I hope he is put away for life, never to see the light of day outside prison again.

The fact a guy like that, with that sort of background, even suspicions rather than proven, found a job in a school is incredible. Something is very wrong with a system that allows that.
He wasnt very bright either looking at where the evidence was found.
Carr wasnt exactly a bright spark either, this country is breading ****wits.
What a tragic waste of life.

Better to leave someone like him to rot in gaol forever. Along the way he'll hopefully experience some of the fear he inflicted on his victims. Execution would be a let off.

Nacro it would be nice to believe that but with the system in this country he will be protected in jail and not a finger laid on him
He doesn't deserve solitary/protected confinement but to be thrown in with the other inmates and left to his own devices!

How often do you read about some notorious pervert/rapist getting glassed, stabbed and terrorised while inside. That happened to Whiting the guy who murdered Sarah Payne. It will happen to Huntley, some of you seem more concerned about the cost rather than letting this guy suffer for the rest of his life. I say punish him rather than letting him off with execution, after all he's tried to kill himself and probably will again.
Better to leave him terrified in gaol to sweat it out secure in the knowledge he has the rest of his life to wait. Then hopefully a prison riot will see him off to into oblivion.

Yeah - thought the British Judicial system and a loophole would have meant he'd got away on a technicality

Don't understand why it took them so long to convict the ****.
The BBC News interviews with the 10-year-old class mates is bang out of order!

You seem to think he'll be beaten/raped/tortured in jail, but just remember who he's sharing space with. The lowest, most perverted maggots in the country. There will be plenty of similar "people" in Jail with him, so don't hold your hope up that he'll be treated with any hatred. Some sick animals will probably praise him.
Main thing is he's out the way of our children.
